For a few months now, Wietse and FateJiki,
the main developer, has been planning, coding and stabilizing the source. It all began with one single goal. We both knew that it was very possible to reach that goal and here's the result.
We fixed bugs, memory leaks and deadlocks
and we also patched many packet exploits, dupes and hacks.
Our closed-beta gave us new hope and with a great team
it was possible to fix all important bugs and add nice features.
This server has an unique primitive world system. InternationalMS has two worlds, one is GMS-like lowrate, meaning there are NO AIO's, NO spoon-feeding and NO advancement NPCs.
And the other is non-GMS-like with higher rates, meaning there are advancement NPC’s, cool commands and a rebirth system.
Our system is totally unique. The two worlds can interact with each other and communicate, but due to the huge difference in rates, partying and trading will be disabled as well as monster drops and player drops will be invisible to players who don't belong to the same world.
Though you can still be in the same guild as other-worldly people and still have your friend from the other world on your buddylist.
With this system we can create an outstanding community.
The system is still in development so report all bugs and glitches you happen to find.
-The first world Scania, lowrate and GMS-like, has almost all GMS-like features. Full GMS like Job advancements system for Adventurers and Cygnus Knights.
-The second world Bera, middlerate and un GMS-like, is our highest priority jet. We still need to code the NPC’s, custom commands and middlerate features. We will do that during the BETA.
The two worlds will both have the best features. They have a secret jail system and a great achievement system for NX. They have a party bonus exp system and many items are fixed.
You know that pesky and annoying issue where you'd get STUCK in-game? The chances of it happening on the server are pretty low. We coded a server-sided check where it'll check for stuck players every 5 seconds, meaning there won't be such a long wait time.
There's also an automatic event scheduling system where every few minutes, the channel-server will check the exact date and set pre-coded events in motion depending on the time. Say we're October 31st. As soon as the clock hits November, the server will automatically switch to November's event. For BETA, which lasts 21 days, will last from July 11th all the way to July 31st. (It's not 21 days, but the beta was delayed so we have no choice.) and for the month of August, we'll have "The Tetris Thieves" event. Details will come when the time comes! (It's already coded, so don't worry, no delays. )
What's cool with these events are they are pre-coded, pre-planned, and most importantly..pre-tested. We won't be like NEXON and extend patches/updates by hours as they'll be limited to a few minutes of server-restarting and core updating.
Our development team is very active. We have a big future and enough time to spend. We will add the best GMS-like PQ’s, nice systems, GMS-like hired merchants, v83 and just many more unique features.
-The rates of Scania, our first GMS-like world, are 18x Experience, 9x Mesos and 4x Drop.
-The rates of Bera, our second non-GMS-like world, are 200x Experience, 45x Mesos and 10x Drop.
